The fire at the downtown Boise Knitting Factory was absolutely terrifying. While the cause has been pinpointed, since the fire, as having started from a spark during construction--seeing the building that for many holds so many fond memories up in smoke was absolutely unreal.  Reports since the fire have mentioned that up to 60 percent of the venue is damaged because of the fire.

As we speak, recovery efforts are already under way. In fact, not only will a lot of the Knitting Factory be repaired, but there will be a lot of renovation as well--capitalizing on the forced closure of the venue.

I've been giving away TONS of Owl City tickets each weeknight here in 103.5 KISS FM -- talk about a throwback show! Since so many of you are excited, I wanted to make sure that you knew about the venue change happening, as this concert is now going to be held downtown at the Egyptian Theatre--which, if you ask me, will make for a pretty great environment!
