Popular Boise Brewery Offers $1 Beers for Voters on Election Day
There's nothing particularly fun about politics. The study of it all may be interesting to some and certainly a reflection or a deep dive into history. But talking politics with people, these days, can be painful at times? The 'political climate' isn't what it once was--people are far less civil--and more times than not it seems that people have lost the ability to listen and understand.
While Idaho and the entire nation navigates Election Day (is it over yet?), we have finally found ONE reason to not be so annoyed by it all.
Beer.
Western Collective, a locally owned and operated brewery here in Boise is encouraging folks to get out and vote! What's in it for you?
Beer. For $1
As Western Collective posted on their social media platforms:
Election day always an important one for our country, Show us your “I voted” sticker to get your first thunder for $1 at the taproom today. Freedom ain’t free, but by exercising your right to vote, your first beer nearly is!!
Honestly, with all of the noise going on in the world right now--and of course, the contentious attitudes of many voters--maybe a $1 beer could really cut the edge off.
Pop in to Western Collective today--Election Day-- and show off that bright and shiny 'I Voted' sticker for a $1 pour! It's that simple--and it's a fun way to celebrate our civic duty, as well.
