Here in the Treasure Valley, folks are all about supporting local. There's something special about a locally owned and operated business and in a town like Boise where we're so proud of the place that we call home--it's almost out duty to keep our dollars in Idaho as much as we can.

Everything from restaurants to produce stands--the bases are covered in the Boise area when it comes to local operations.

Perhaps the 'trendiest' local industry? Booze.

All across the Treasure Valley you're sure to find plenty of local breweries and wineries that are made, produced, bottled and sold right in our own backyard. These drinks are nearly always better than the national brands that are sold on ever store shelf in America.

One local and very popular brewery has said it's time to celebrate...with $5 beers.

Located on Chinden Boulevard and West 33rd Street, Western Collective, one of Boise's most popular breweries, is hoping to pour plenty of beer for International Beer Day, which falls on Friday, August 2nd.

These days, you can't buy much with a five-dollar bill but on Friday, August 2nd, you'll be able to buy a great time and all while supporting local business at Western Collective.

Which will you choose? For $5, you could have a taste of them all!

We love local Western Collective and we LOVE to see they're all in on National Beer Day. We all need one.
