Popular Boise Restaurant Closing Doors For Good After 27 Years

These days, owning and running a business can be very difficult. With the uncertainty of the economy and just the changing times of how consumers shop and eat in general--locally owned shops an restaurants all find themselves facing the same struggle to 'keep the doors open'.

Announced this morning, one popular local restaurant is going to be closing for good in just a matter of days.

Who is closing their doors now? A long-time Boise staple that has been locally owned and operated for nearly 30 years!

The announcement of closure came via the restaurant's Facebook page, where ownership wrote a heartfelt message:

We will be CLOSING our business on MAY 17, it is the LAST DAY .

Anytime I see all of you happy with your favorite food it makes my day more then happy , we make food with our love not just for money ! Our restaurant has been here more then 27 years from my father’s then me take over more then 10 years , we are so lucky we have a lot of customers supporting Us , more and more come, now we have alot of Vegan fans too , golden wok is More busy and busy , I wish I can keep gokden wok stay longer but I have to let it go , my two kids 26 and 25 years old not want to take over the business , they’ve have success on there own feet that make Us very proud, we still have little kiddo 9 years old ,she is so sweet and so lonely at home with grandma and grandpa , we been busy every day , go home very late the most dayb, very hard to find a helper in the kitchens , she always wish on Santa list only 1 wish been 3 years , she wish her mom and dad stay home with her more after school and weekend, she didn’t write any toys at all, that make brokenhearted , now time to make her wish happen!
