Popular Winter Destination Opens Hundreds of Jobs in Idaho
We don't have to tell you that things are a little "extra" out there right now. Whether it's the cost of gas prices from coast to coast, the surge in grocery costs, or simply the rhetoric between political parties and neighbors-- things feel tense.
While all of this is going on, the average Idahoan is just trying to find a way to make it all work and have ends meet. Ever since the COVID-19 pandemic, financial struggles have been front and center in our state and in America.
What is one to do? Well, if you have the flexibility, perhaps picking up another job is an option and a recent release is an example of a side gig that can pay AND be fun-- that's a win-win, right?
Bogus Basin, one of Idaho's favorite winter destinations, has announced that in preparation for this winter ski season, they will be looking to hire over 500 individuals to help make the resort run. Not only could this be a really great (and fun) side hustle--this might be a great first job or opportunity for students looking to make some money as well!
Positions that you can expect to be available are lift operators, ticket sellers, ski grooming equipment operators, roles in food and beverage areas, ski and snowboard instructors, attendants for lifts and tubing, rental shop help--and so much more!
There will be a job fair for anyone interested on Saturday, October 22nd from 9:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. at the downtown Boise Bogus Basin sales office.
