There are two things that you can 100 percent expect from me around this time each year. First, you will never catch me praying for snow...ESPECIALLY after last year's crazy winter.  Second, you will never catch me missing the Pray For Snow Winter Ale Festival in downtown Boise.

Is this all ironic? Yep, it sure is. But I love a good beer (or 20) and Pray For Snow is always one of my favorite social events to go to with my friends.  Pray For Snow is Boise's longstanding winter ale festival outside, right behind Chine Blue in the Republic Parking lot on 6th Street.  With tons of free beer samplings (all you can drink) from over 40 breweries there's absolutely no reason I shouldn't see you out this year.  In fact, aside from having a great time last year I discovered a ton of new Northwest brewed beers that I can now find bottled and on shelves right here in Boise.

The event goes down next Saturday, November 11th from noon until 8:00 p.m. and I'm already counting down the days. THIS FRIDAY you can get tickets for half price, which is a total steal.  The sale goes from 6:00 a.m. until Midnight.
