Prime Members: Say Goodbye to 2-Day Shipping

If you subscribe to Amazon Prime, unfortunately it's time to say goodbye to 2-day shipping...

...Oh, and you should probably say HELLO to 1-day shipping!

The change is happening and I can't imagine ANYONE is mad about this! Obviously, Amazon has changed not only the way that we shop online, but the way that we SHOP in general. Why hit the busy Target on Milwaukee when you're off of work and tired...when you can order essentially everything you need from your smartphone screen and have it on your doorstep in a day!?

According to various outlets, the change at Amazon Prime is meant to step up their game as more and more online services begin to offer 2-day shipping. Another form of shopping that Amazon just can't compete with is order online / pick-up in store options. With Amazon lacking brick and mortar stores--they've got to keep a leg up on their competitors.

If you order from Amazon often, you're familiar with the white sprinter vans you see around the Treasure Valley to deliver. I'm beginning to see these in my neighborhood even more than I see FedEx, UPS, or the United States Postal Service. Call it a sign of the times, I suppose.
