It's almost like the bats know it's Halloween. Why else would they wait until October to try to infect us with rabies?

A man in Twin Falls was bitten Monday by a bat, and since then we've found out the animal tested positive for rabies. This is the 19th animal to test positive for rabies in the Gem State since June of this year.

While not common, rabies can be fatal if it goes uncured. It's transmitted by animals bites and scratches.
