Report: Kohberger To Accept Shocking Plea Deal in Idaho Murder Case
Tragedy struck and the world couldn't believe their eyes when headlines printed. Four University of Idaho students murdered in the quiet of night -- all stabbed to death -- and not a witness or clue in sight.
The entire globe followed the investigation and it was the story around the world. Frankly, it still is.
A house just steps away from the campus of the University of Idaho became a fixture on the nightly news and after weeks of investigation, an arrest was made across the country, in Pennsylvania.
Brian Kohberger has been in custody, accused of these murders, ever since.
Now, with a trial date set just last week for August 18th of this year, the trial that would have had national and global media flocking to Boise might just be called off.
Just over a month ago, a Dateline special unveiled new details in the case that even those following every document had never seen or heard of before:

Many believe that these new details may have been what turned the case on its side
As these new details emerged, it became more and more clear: the defense was going to need a miracle to separate Kohberger from the case. Let's not forget, Kohberger's DNA was indeed found on the knife sheath left at the scene of the crime.
According to many national reports, including News Nation, the highly anticipated trial may not happen after all.
In an alleged plea deal that would spare Kohberger from facing the death penalty, reports say that he will be changing his plea to GUILTY -- WITHOUT the option for parole or appeal.
The family of Kaylee Goncalves wrote online:
It’s true! We are beyond furious at the State of Idaho. They have failed us. Please give us some time. This was very unexpected. We appreciate all your love and support.
You may remember that over a year ago, this video was one of the first to 'leak' -- the video showed a white Hyundai Elantra--just like Kohbergers:
