Before Boise was booming like it is today there was a time when Boise, Idaho was just a small city and sometimes people seem to forget that. Recently however with all of the people moving here it seems like locals are putting in all of their best efforts to help everyone who now lives here realize what Boise once was.

A new video has recently taken the internet by storm showing what Boise looked like in the 1940s. The old 1945 videos resurfaced on TikTok and has people who have both lived here forever and people who are new reminiscing on what our city used to look like.

Then even more old footage of Boise is surfaced online but this one is from 1988. This video compares the construction from Boise now to the construction that was happening in the 1980's.

Now a video from the 1980's has just hit the internet and it shows a bunch of people just hanging out in Downtown Boise on skateboards. Surely, this wouldn't be possible any more due to how busy the city is but how cool is it that this was filmed not that long ago!

While a lot has changed in Boise and a lot of it is really new and exciting taking a look back on what our city used to look like is just as special.
