Russia Is First With COVID-19 Vaccine Or Are They?

It is going to be a glorious day when we have a COVID-19 vaccine. It will even be better when the vaccine is readily available and then it will even be better when COVID-19 becomes a thing of the past. I'm not much into politics so I don't know if this is just politics or if it's real, According to KTVB Russian Leader Putin said in a government meeting that Russia is the first in the world to develop a COVID-19 vaccine.

“I know it has proven efficient and forms a stable immunity, and I would like to repeat that it has passed all the necessary tests,” he added. “We must be grateful to those who made that first step very important for our country and the entire world."

The Russian leader is such a believer that one of his daughters has received two shots of the vaccine. he claims “She has taken part in the experiment,”.

On the other side of the spectrum Kellyanne Conway counselor to the President had this to say in and interview with Fox and Friends.

"What I understand from the Russia announcement is, this is nowhere near where we are," she continued. "Which is, we have six different vaccine candidates into Phase 3 [trials]. And [the Russians] don't seem to be there yet."

To some this is about politics, to some it's about people, can you imagine if the worlds leaders actually worked together?
