Saturday Night Live Star Announces Downtown Boise Comedy Show
Summer in our area could certainly be considered 'concert season' in the Treasure Valley. Each summer, it seems that all of our local venues fill up with major concert tours and musical acts. It's a really special time of the year and we're lucky to have TONS of fun outdoor venues to accommodate acts and crowds of all sizes.
As temperatures cool off, however, where is there to go? Certainly we have plenty of indoor facilities-- one of the most iconic by far? Downtown Boise's Egyptian Theatre!
The theatre has been ramping up the number of events that they host lately. This year alone, several sold out comedy shows have rolled through the Egyptian (big names, like Louis C.K) and even Idaho's own Aaron Paul held a red carpet event there.
Now, a new comedy show is going to invade downtown Boise's Egyptian Theatre -- and you'll know the name (and the face) right away.
Welcome to Boise, Fred Armisen!
Armisen, most recognized for his years of being on NBC's 'Saturday Night Live' will be brining his 'Comedy for Musicians But Everyone is Welcome' tour to Boise!
Expect a unique blend of comedy and music--just as the event is titled--and since being announced, people in Boise are already talking about the November 12th show!
The show, by the way, is nearly sold out. You can get in on some tickets before they are all gone (it's sure to be a funny evening), HERE.
