Students in these Idaho schools can now use bathrooms and locker rooms based on their chosen gender identity. The change is coming to Blaine County Schools in Hailey, Idaho.

In addition to the restroom provision, the new ruling will also allow students to play sports of whichever gender they identify with. In addition, the policy prevents students being discriminated against based on their gender identity.

The changes go into effect Tuesday.
