Son of Former Boise State Coach Bryan Harsin Announces Commitment

Football season is upon us, Idaho, and whether you're a fan or not--the changes are in the air. Summer temperatures are peaking--that's for sure. Once we get past the triple digit heat wave, however, we will start to notice the sun going down a little earlier in the evening, and yes: football.

If you've driven past any schools in the area lately, odds are you've seen some young athletes on the tracks and fields getting ready for the fall athletics season. That is certainly the case at our local high schools.

Over at Eagle High School, a familiar name yet a new face is spending the summer getting ready for a competitive Idaho High School Football run.

Davis Harsin, son of former Boise State head football coach Bryan Harsin, is fine tuning his skills! Check out this video of the two Harsin boys practicing together, below:

Congrats to Davis Harsin on the huge news! It will be funny to see Bryan Harsin inevitably rocking some ISU gear, that's for sure! Ironically enough, Idaho State is coached by Cody Hawkins--former Bishop Kelly star and son of former Boise State football coach Dan Hawkins!

Last season, a national publication ranked the best high school football programs in the State of Idaho--a total of SEVEN of them are here in the Treasure Valley!
