Spooky season, also known halloween or HALLOWEEKEND if you're feeling really crazy, is right around the corner!  In a year which has resulted in essentially everything being canceled, we're hoping that some of our favorite fall and spooky season activities are not.

So far we know that Haunted World will be open, staples like Linder Farms and The Farmstead will be going, and now something I've always wanted to check out has confirmed it will be going as well! The old Idaho State Penitentiary!

I've been to the facility before--a few times as a kid for field trips. But these nighttime tours have always sounded fun to me. There's no way that this place isn't haunted so it's got to be a total trip walking through there are night and hearing about the history. If only those walls could talk.

Friday, October 2nd, the nighttime tours will be going on!  The event page shares some info:

Friday, October 2 (7:00pm-11:00pm, last admission 10:15pm). Join us as we kick off Locktober with nighttime self-guided tours of the Old Idaho Penitentiary!
$10 per person or 2 for $15!
Bring a flashlight and dress for the weather. This event is recommended to guests 13 and older due to mature content and site safety hazards.
Part of the Old Idaho Penitentiary's Locktober 2020 celebration, all October!
