St. Luke's Files Lawsuit Against Idaho's Ammon Bundy

Ammon Bundy is back in the news and yet again, it has nothing to do with his run for Governor of the State of Idaho. We should add that yes--his campaign as an Independent continues for that as well.

So why is Bundy in the news this time? Chances are, you will recognize the story.

You may recall when the Idaho Department of Health and Welfare intervened in a local case where an infant's wellbeing was in question. Local authorities found the child and took Baby Cyrus to St. Luke's per the directions given to them. It was a painful situation to watch as it unfolded--however it didn't take long for citizens to post footage, photos, opinions and more online. This of course quickly turned into an active protest outside of St. Luke's in downtown Boise--at one point, forcing the hospital to go on lockdown.

Along with asking for an eight-person trial, St. Luke's is seeking a minimum of $50,000 in damages.
