Students! 103.5 KISS FM’s ‘A Step Ahead’ Offers Free Haircuts

After what has been a totally awesome summer, 103.5 KISS FM knows that school is just around the corner for hundreds of local students all across the Treasure Valley.

We get it and we've been there--you don't want summer to end.

For many students in our area, however, going back to school is a relief. Seeing friends, having a place to spend the day, get meals, and in many instance: it's a place to be safe.

It would be ignorant to assume that every child has a safe home to go to at night--and there is a real need in our area of resources and help.

Back for year 2, 'A Step Ahead' is returning to Nampa and will offer all students from anywhere in the Treasure Valley and of ANY age, to come and get a FREE BACK TO SCHOOL HAIRCUT!

Stylists from Paul Mitchel will be on hand to take care of both boys and girls--and, while supplies last, students will be given a certificate to come back for another haircut at any time they would like during the school year!

The event will be taking place at the Boys and Girls Club of Nampa (316 Stampede Dr, Nampa, ID 83687) from 10:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 12th.

Based on numbers from the Idaho State Department of Education, these school districts had the highest four-year graduation rates for the Class of 2022. It's worth noting that all of these districts have a total student population of less than 900.
