It was an odd early Saturday morning for some Boise Police officers.

Around 1:00 a.m. Boise Police responded to a call reporting gunshots on Rose Hill Street.  Officers continue to search for the man that forced his way into the home and fired the shots, but a woman in the home, 35 year-old Megan Murphy was taken into custody for a misdemeanor probation violation.

While the officers were inside the home, a witness was staying warm completing paperwork in the back of a Boise Police patrol car when a driver unrelated to this incident crashed into the police car. The witness in the patrol car along with passengers in the other car were injured and taken to the hospital for minor injuries.  The driver was arrested for driving under the influence.
