It was a crime that socked the entire globe--and it happened here in the State of Idaho nearly two years ago now, if you can believe it.

In November of 2022 during a quite night in Moscow, Idaho--just steps away from the University of Idaho's campus, tragedy struck. Four innocent lives were taken in the silence of night, by stabbing, only to be discovered the next morning.

The entire globe was taken back by the crimes and for weeks, it seemed that police knew nothing. None of it made sense.

Nearly two months later, police made an arrest, across the country, in Pennsylvania. Yet again--nothing made sense.

Since then, the public has seen limited amounts of information from public record but the man in custody, Bryan Kohberger, remains the sole suspect in the quadruple homicide. Fascination, sleuthing, and over-the-top media coverage has put all eye on tiny Moscow, Idaho for nearly two full years.

Now, because of that attention--the trial, which is set to begin in June of 2025, will be moved out of Moscow's Latah County Courthouse.

Here's a look at where many expect the Bryan Kohberger trial to take place:

Yes, Ada County, by far, is the State of Idaho's largest county and it seems difficult to see a situation where the trial won't be in Boise.

The key driver behind the Change of Venue stems from prosecution arguing that because of the intense news coverage and the many 'true crime' speculation groups and think tanks that stem from it, it's impossible to find folks in a county as small as Latah that have not bee influenced by what could be inaccurate information or coverage.

Looking for a larger jury pool? Boise--Ada County--is really the only answer.

Idaho's Supreme Court will make that call soon.
