Boise State packed its bags and flew across the pacific ocean for their latest test on the football field-- this time, taking on the University of Hawaii Rainbow Warriors!

The game required a significant amount of travel, an aggressive time change adjustment, and familiar territory. Boise State has been upset in Honolulu before.

The game, many times, wasn't pretty--but despite all of that, the Broncos came out on top and brought the win back to Boise.

The win is exciting of course, but the new college football rankings, the notorious Top 25' standings, are really beginning to be a highly anticipated reveal each week. Boise State keeps winning while other programs ahead of them are losing.

Going into Week 8 of the season, Boise State is now ranked 15th--their highest ranking in years.

All of this is great news, as Boise State needs to be the highest ranking 'non-power' team to make the cut for the first ever 12-team College Football Playoff. Yes--that would put Boise State in a realistic running for a national championship.

Up next? A bye week. Some call it a blessing and others say it could be a kick to the team's momentum.

After the bye? A road game at UNLV--a team with only 1 loss on the season.

Check out the entire Top 25 rankings, which have Boise State all of the way up to 15th, HERE.

Planning on attending the next home game here in Boise? It will be on November 1st against San Diego State--and here's a list of items you're going to want to leave behind.
