The Top 5 BMF Performers With the Biggest Following
Boise Music Festival has brought us some of the biggest artists the music industry has to offer. This year Flo-Rida, The Band Perry, Sean Kingston, Hey Violet and Austin Mahone are all taking the stage at Expo Idaho June 24th. It's arguably our biggest lineup ever, but BMF stars of the past are no slouches either.
If we were to rank them based on their social media following, who would be on top?
#5 - Nelly (BMF 2016)
Twitter - 4,190,000 - Instagram - 1,900,000
Nelly rocked BMF last year as a throwback artist, but don't think that means he isn't up on social media. Since hitting the radio way back in 2000, the St. Louis native has remained relevant and on top of his game to this day.
#4 - Jason Derulo (BMF 2013)
Twitter - 3,780,000 - Instagram - 3,000,000
Yes, he sings his name a lot. He also has a massive following and a pile of hit songs. While Derulo was in Boise for BMF four years ago, he continues to pump out bangers you can hear all the time on 103.5 KISS FM.
#3 - LMFAO (BMF 2014/2015)
Twitter - 8,190,000 - Instagram - 636,000
Red Foo and Sky Blu came to BMF seperately since their hiatus, but even as solo artists they can still put on a mean live performance. No word yet on when we'll see LMFAO back as a unit.
#2 - Austin Mahone (BMF 2017)
Twitter - 9,800,000 - Instagram - 10,000,000
Much like Justin Bieber, Austin Mahone was discovered on YouTube. That being said, he's a social media darling and his following online reflects that. We can't wait to see Austin perform his duet "Say You're Just A Friend" with Flo-Rida in June!
#1 - Nick Jonas (BMF 2015)
Twitter - 11,000,000 - Instagram - 11,200,000
From Disney Channel to promise rings to getting jealous, Nick Jonas has been a tour de force since he was ten years old. Not only does he have the biggest following of any BMF artist in history, he also performed at the hottest BMF ever. Temperatures soared above 100° when Nick was in Boise in 2015.
