The Vandals Go Bowling in Boise; Tickets On Sale Now

U of I alums and fans, break out that silver and Vandal Gold! Your Idaho Vandals are going bowling and it's going to be right here in the Treasure Valley! 

It's Selection Sunday which means the organizers behind the Famous Idaho Potato bowl were finally allowed to announce that the Vandals had accepted an invitation to play in this year's game against a Mountain West opponent.  They'll face Boise State's conference foe, the Colorado State Rams on Thursday, December 22nd at Albertsons Stadium.

The Vandals finished their season with an 8-4 record and a four game winning streak.  They could make it five with a victory at the Potato Bowl, a game that they've had success in before.  The team's other two bowl appearances were in the Humanitarian Bowl (the previous name for the Potato Bowl) in 1998 and 2009.  They won both times.

Tickets are already on sale through Ticketmaster and can be found for as low as $15.

Game week activities include the teams facing off in Bowling for Charity at Pinz, enjoying some winter sports at Bogus or go-kart racing at Fast Lane, FitOne Family Field Day and tailgating. Find the full run down HERE.
