It's no secret that the price of housing in Idaho is going up. Maybe it's the economy, maybe it's people relocating here from other states, maybe it's aliens. We don't know.

All we know is, it costs a lot to pack up and move to Idaho. And these are the cities that'll cost you even more if you decide to move there.

The typical home value in Idaho's priciest city is almost $1,500,000.

Recently, Stacker.com put together a list of the cities with the most expensive homes in Idaho, and the results are honestly a little unbelievable. While we believe some of these cities have expensive homes, it's the sticker shock that's hitting hardest. These houses are astronomically expensive.

Eagle came pretty close to topping the list, taking spot #9. The "typical" home value in Eagle is just over $810,000. That's up 68% from five years ago.

The city with the most expensive homes in Idaho? That honor goes to Ketchum. Listen to this. The average home value in Ketchum is $1,500,000. Yes, one million, five hundred thousand dollars. That's the average home cost.

Needless to say, if you're looking for an affordable place to live in Idaho, Ketchum and the Hailey area may not be for you. Unless you won the lottery. Or if your dad was an oil tycoon.

We were able to find a one-of-a-kind house in Nampa that you're going to want to check out. Probably out of most people's price rangers, but it's still fun to look at the pretty pictures and pretend.

This Nampa Home Seriously Belongs in Hollywood

All over the Treasure Valley, there are homes for sale, big and small--grand and humble. We recently stumbled across this home and had no idea we were in Idaho anymore. Plot twist: this straight 'outta Hollywood home is for sale in Nampa, right now!
