Big night in Boise on Sunday, August 6th. Luke Bryan brought his Country On Tour show to the Ford Idaho Center...and didn't perform.

Obviously, fans are very disappointed they didn't get to see their favorite country artist take the stage last night, but once you discover the reason why, it's becomes somewhat difficult to stay mad at Mr. Bryan.

Before he was supposed to take the stage, Luke Bryan tweeted out this message to fans:

Dear Boise fans – this is so hard for me to do but I am going to have to cancel my show on August 5th  at Ford Center.  Under the advisement of doctors I need another day to rest my voice and get better.  There is nothing that I love more than to play live shows and I am so disappointed to not be able to do this for you.  More info will be sent to those who bought tickets.  Love ya Luke

Live performing, especially at Luke's level, is extremely demanding, and vocalists losing their ability to sing night after night isn't uncommon. Bryan is one of the hardest working people in music, and if you've ever had the chance to see him perform, you know he gives his all on stage. So, we're honestly not surprised he's feeling under the weather.

Bryan has promised fans that more information regarding their tickets will be coming soon. We're not sure if that means a refund, a rescheduled date, or something different.

Get well soon, Luke!

Another artist who goes 100% every night on stage? Taylor Swift. And the photos from her Eras tour do not disappoint:
