This Major Coffee Chain Has Banned Vaping in All Idaho Locations

Times, they're a changing. It seems that over the last several months there have been more than enough changes sweeping several major chains with locations in Idaho and surrounding states. We're talking BIG chains-- like WinCo, Costco, and more.

Starbucks recently joined the trend, with changes that, according to them, aim to make the coffee chain locations more 'welcoming'.

Take a look at just a few of the changes coming to Starbucks locations soon and see if you can guess which is most controversial:

If you guess the 'no vaping' rule, then you're totally correct--those who love their vapes aren't having the change, also known as THE BAN!

So what's the scoop? There's a 'Code of Conduct' that will be rolled out into Starbucks locations that includes the 'no vaping' rule along with others such as no harassment, panhandling, or abusive and threatening language.

The sign will note, along with store policy, that if you do any of the above (including whipping out that flash-drive looking vape) that the store can call the police on you.

It is clear that Starbucks wants to get back to their roots and feel more like a coffee shop than a coffee conveyer belt. Over the years, and especially since distancing and less in-person time following the COVID-19 pandemic, that has become an overwhelmingly missing piece. Not to mention, Starbucks has reported sales are DOWN.

Drive by a Starbucks location in the Treasure Valley during morning drive time and you're going to see plenty of cars in line. They're still wildly popular.
