This Website Helps Idahoans Find COVID Vaccine Near Them

We don't need to tell you the amount of havoc that COVID-19 brought onto "normal life" over the past year. Events were canceled, families were distanced. It has not been easy.

With cases slowing down in our area, at least for the time being, many are anxious to get a vaccine process started and ideally be on their way to a little more normalcy.

Well, there's now a website that can be used here in the Treasure Valley and beyond to help you get YOUR vaccine. Think of it as a one-stop shop and I absolutely love this concept.

VaccineFinder is now live online and I came across it after one of our own community members shared it among Boise Bench Dwellers. It's very simple to use.

Log onto the website (click HERE) and just click "Find COVID-19 Vaccines". From there, you will be prompted to enter your Zip Code and a mileage radius you are willing to drive for your vaccine. I left mine at 10 miles.  Next, you simply start your search.

According to my own Zip Code, there are about 28 different vaccination locations within the 10 mile radius.  Of those, SIX locations have available vaccines!

This website which is updated frequently is a great resource because it can prevent you from having to find a master list of places offering the vaccine and then calling each and every one of them to check on availability.

It's important to note that just because they're available does not mean just anyone can go and snag them. You actually need to be eligible for a vaccine per your state or other guidelines.
