This Saturday we celebrate our Veterans. Those who have selflessly put their lives on the line to defend our freedom. There are many celebrations taking place in and around the Treasure Valley but one of the biggest will be in Kuna. Every year thousands pack inside the Kuna High Gym and honor those who have served.

David Reinhart, spokesperson for the Kuna School District told KTVB "It's the event where hundreds of veterans come and the entire school body is here and ahelicopter lands, its a big deal."

So with the "kneeling" conversation still being had around the country, rumors started that students may take a knee during the assembly.

Reinhart explains "There was a rumor that the students would take a knee during the national anthem."

The rumor was started by a student who has since apologized.

So, what do you think? Should students be allowed to take a knee and protest during veterans day?
