Top Rated Boise Taco Truck Suddenly Closes ‘Until Further Notice’

If there is one thing that folks here in the Treasure Valley absolutely love, it's our ever growing 'foodie scene'. It doesn't matter the cuisine, it seems that every week there's a new 'flavor'--pun intended--making its way to the Treasure Valley.

A staple of it all? Food trucks.

There's a truck for nearly every appetite and local taco trucks will very often, have cult followings. Everyone has a favorite, but few are more popular than a long-time taco 'authority': Antonio's Kitchen.

Located on Ustick Road right in the middle of Five Mile and Cloverdale, Antonio's Kitchen has been serving up some of the best tacos, birria, and more for years. With a strong costumer base and a 'cult-like following' during workday lunch hours, it didn't take long for residents to notice: Antonio's Kitchen hasn't been open?

The truck suddenly seemed 'closed' and local foodie groups online were in a bit of a panic.

Just recently, however, the truck shared an update online.

We're all rooting for Antonio & hope to see him back here in Boise at the taco truck very soon! 

While we aren't sure what Antonio is battling, we're all rooting for him. He, his truck, and of course the tacos, are all local favorites. We're sending all of our positive vibes and support to his family, as well, as these are never easy situations.
