Thanksgiving is right around the corner--but really, you wouldn't even be able to tell unless you looked at a calendar. Every store in the Treasure Valley is greeting you with tons of on-sale leftover Halloween Candy at the doors and once you pass that, you're looking at Christmas decorations!

Despite all of the mixed messaging, Thanksgiving is undeniably the next major holiday and with the day of feasting on Turkey and mashed potatoes just a couple of weeks away, it's time to cover the necessities. Sure, the stuffings, cranberries, and other table-top goodies are must-haves. What are you doing BEFORE the meal, though? You've got to have some sort of activity to brace for all of the calories, right?

It's back and it's going to be a great time--so why not join the Second Annual Turkey Day 5k!? In years past, this event has always been held downtown Boise, but now--there's an option for folks in Canyon County! It takes place at Indian Creek Plaza and this is the second year it has been around.

You can register online and if you do so by November 16th, you will be able to get in on the Turkey Day 5k fun before the price goes up!

Participation includes a festive memorable t-shirt and the BEST costumes will be awarded prizes on race day as well--so come dressed up!
