Salmon is one of my absolute favorite foods. Ever since I was a kid and my dad would put some on the grill nearly every summer weekend.  A recent news article totally creeped me out, though--and it has to do with Salmon in our very own Idaho rivers.

On June 9th, a salmon caught in the Little Salmon River was photographed with its mouth covered in sores and tumors.  Scientists say that disease and infection are normal but others are saying these salmon may have been exposed to Japan's nuclear disaster.  Hopefully this doesn't effect the salmon we buy locally.  For the complete article (and the photo of that grotesque fish), click HERE.
