I have never met anyone that LOVES vaccines--I have had friends that are more "needle nervous" than others but nobody LIKES to be pricked, right? This is how you know that times have changed over the last year--because for the most part, the greater population is LOOKING FORWARD to a vaccine.

Yes, it has been an absolutely insane past 12-months. It is exciting to see, however, more and more people being vaccinated which will only mean more light at the end of the tunnel.

Well, as more and more doses of various brands of the COVID-19 vaccine become available, we have great news coming out of the Central District Health Department today: beginning Monday, more Idahoans will be able to get THEIR shot!

A new subgroup, as announced by Central District Health will be opening up on Monday for EVERYONE 55 years-old and older.  This may sound a little confusing because the last subgroup was for those of the same age--however, those 55 years-old and older with a medical condition were prioritized.

If you or someone you know is 55 -years-old or older and is hoping to get a dose of this vaccine, beginning on Monday, March 22, 2021 that will be an option.

If you are eligible now or on Monday, reach out to your health care provider or any vaccination clinic in your area and schedule your appointment!

If you are not yet eligible but want to be in the know, you can pre-register for your appointment online HERE.
