It has been far from a normal year and while we all didn't expect the pandemic to last THIS LONG, here we are.  The light at the end of the tunnel, however, has been this  massive roll out of COVID-19 vaccines. Early on in the pandemic, most health professionals sai that it would take a vaccine to get us into the clear. Now, here we are.

While there are many providers and locations with vaccines in stock, this isn't the only option.

So if you or someone you know could use a vaccine "delivery", if you will--here is everything you will need to know.

In tandem with the Idaho National Guard, the Central District Health Department is working to make arrangements to bring COVID-19 vaccinations to YOU wherever your home may be. Of course, you will need to fall under the CDH jurisdiction, which encompasses Ada County, Boise County, Elmore County, and Valley County here in the State of Idaho.

In order to place your request in for a vaccination to be brought to you, you will need to contact the Central District Health Call Center and let them know that you are interested. Their phone number is (208) 321-2222.  Once you speak with them, they will connect you with a provider that will be able to administer the vaccine to you, right in the comfort of your own home.

Obviously, having the help of the Idaho National Guard has been huge and with the demand for vaccines still loud and clear, Central District Health plans to offer these "mobile vaccines" for some time.
