It's fair season people! The Western Idaho Fair is back and kicks off this weekend with free admission perks, great grandstand lineup, spectacular carnival, and furry friends.

When was the last time you made it out to the fair? I feel like be a new dad of a four-year-old and 11-month old that I understand so much now. Time isn't on a schedule but on their schedule. You get out when you can and planning doesn't always work out. I wanted to give you the rundown so you could make plans, save some money and coordinate that date night if you need.

The Western Idaho Fair opens Friday, August 16 with a FREE entry block from 12-2 P.M. This is for opening day Friday ONLY and will be hosted by our Spirit of Boise Balloon Classic partners, CBS 2 News for STEM Day.

The fair will bring back Family Day with KTVB on Monday, August 19 ONLY with special on admission and carnival wristbands for $29.

Every fair has its attraction and the free concerts are definitely that. I remember last year with Gabriel Iglesias and the mayhem that followed. I haven't seen a crowd show up like that in years and "Fluffy" didn't disappoint. The unique draw to these shows besides the artists themselves is the price. All shows are free with regular ticket admission 🔥Here's what is headlining this year.

Grandstand Need to Knows: Acts are free with fair admission, gates open at 6:30 P.M., shows begin promptly at 7:30 P.M. and seating is limited. Lineup because it's first-come, first-served!
