‘Discontinued': Popular Boise Restaurant To End Fan Favorite Item

It's been a difficult year for local business, particularly here in the Treasure Valley. Insert all of the 'in this economy' jokes you would like to use, here--it's a harsh reality of 2025. Families, individuals, and local business have been struggling.

The cost of just about everything has gone up. This has, unfortunately, caused lots of local business to shut their doors and many of these spots have been local favorites-- local foodies? Heartbroken.

One local restaurant, that has long been a favorite here in the Treasure Valley, is NOT closing their doors but they ARE modifying their menu--all because of this pesky economy.

It's no secret--this is going to be a bummer! 

No word on if the costs come back down, if the prized Prime Rib Dinner will return to Westside Drive In. For now, however, the weekend special is gone.

Just minutes after announcing the change, hundreds of comments flooded social media. People were both heartbroken over the change and expressing their support of the local staple. It seems that there may be a large crowd headed to Westside Drive In this weekend to get in on the last of the special!
