There's no denying that the second the sun even shows itself a little bit in the Treasure Valley--everything just kind of 'changes'. After a long Boise winter--snow or no snow--a little sun and a little warmth go a long way.

Residents are often eager to 'get back out' and sit on a patio, walk the dog, and throw on some shorts. Not to mention how quickly local concerts and festivals return to take over the social scene in town.

With this time of the year comes the changing of seasons-- allergies, anyone?

One of the most controversial changes? It has to do with a particular tree that just so happens to be all over the Treasure Valley.

Why? Who knows. Because these things STINK and it's an annual 'thing' to hear everyone complain about it.
