Wicked Tickets On Sale

It seems like SOOO long ago now, but back in 2011 I got an invitation to got invited to see a performance of Wicked in San Antonio. My high school's choir did a whole performance based off the music from the musical my senior year so I was familiar with the songs, but was never a huge fan on the original Wizard Of Oz but I figured "meh, I'll try anything once." After that I've been completely obsessed with the musical! And it's coming back to Boise for a 3 week engagement!

Tickets for the shows go on sale this morning at the Morrison Center Box office. First come, first serve in person from 7 - 10 AM. At 10 AM the remaining tickets go on sale through BoiseStateTickets.com. Trust me, you want to get them! I don't want to give much of the plot away, but Wicked is the untold story of the "Witches of Oz." It's the story of two other girls meeting in the Land of Oz long before Dorthy drops in. One of them is born with emerald-green skin. She's smart, fiery and misunderstood. The other is beautiful, ambitious and super popular. This is the story of how two complete opposites not only became friends, but went on to become Glinda the Good Witch and the Wicked Witch of the West. It's got romance. It's got a great message about bullying and acceptance. It's got ridiculously catchy and memorable songs. It reveals who becomes characters in the original Wizard of Oz and how. Pretty much Wicked is all around INCREDIBLE! You'll be just as obsessed with it as I am after you see it!
