You probably didn't know it was possible but Target just got a little better. At the end of last year, the popular cosmetics retailer, Ulta announced a deal with Target to launch mini Ulta beauty sections inside the stores of the major retailer. The mini-shops are said to feature an assortment of merchandise from more than 50 prestige brands for makeup, skincare, and hair, including Clinique, Urban Decay, Tarte, MAC Cosmetics, Drybar, Jack Black, and Ariana Grande.

The first Ulta mini-stores to pop up in Targets around the country came at the end of July. Before Idahoans get all excited though there are only a few hundred stores that have recently opened - unfortunately, none of which are in Idaho. In fact of those first locations, none are even in the surrounding states of Idaho including Montana, Nevada, Oregon, Utah, Washington, or Wyoming. What's Ulta and Target got against the Pacific Northwest?

So will Idaho Targets ever be lucky enough to host an Ulta mini shop? According to Target's corporate site, a total of 800 locations are planned in the years to come. However, it's still unlikely any of those locations will include Idaho. According to an email sent to the Idaho Business Review from Ulta Vice President for Public Relations Eileen Ziesemer, there are no Ulta inside Target stores planned in Idaho in the near future but they are not ruling it out.

Idahoans can still shop Ulta Beauty online though via Target.com. Now every day through August 18th beauty lovers can save 50% on Ulta Beauty faves in makeup & skincare.
