This year's Famous Idaho Potato Bowl is a big one and we knew it from the second that the teams were announced.

Today the Famous Idaho Potato Bowl saw the Washington State Cougars and the Utah State Aggies. We knew this match up was definitely going to be a good one between the Pac-12 team and the Mountain West team. Considering Utah State is set to be joining Washington State next year in the Pac-12 this has potential to even become a future rivalry.

Not only that but Washington State just announced that their head coach for next season was going to be former Boise State Bronco, Kirby Moore.

Considering this was such a high stakes game we had no idea who was going to come out on top, but we did know that the famous dancing potato would be out on The Blue!

After fighting it out back and forth on The Blue the Washington State Cougars were able to pull off a major win.

They started off early on scoring a couple touchdowns and it almost looked like it could be a shut out against Utah State. Despite the rocky start Utah State was able to put up some points and ended up scoring a few of touch downs.

The final score ended up being 34-21.

Now that this game is complete we are curious to see how some rivalries may kick off for next year!  This could definitely become a major Pac-12 rivalry for the 2026 season!'
