The Egyptian Theatre is Boise's Premier Historical Theatre located right in the heart of Downtown Boise on the corner of Capitol and Main. First opened in 1927, it is a historic center for concerts, opera performances, guest speakers, film festivals & movie premiers. It has been through many changes and renovations over the years. Most recently during a long closure due to the pandemic, staff and crews made careful restorations to make sure the historic integrity remained to revamping into more energy efficient and green practices.

Since reopening over the summer they have already had some great acts come through, they have more lined up and ready. One of the most notable on the calendar is accomplished actor, comedian, screenwriter and director Rob Schneider with his I Have Issues Tour.

Rob is a stand-up comic and veteran of the award-winning NBC sketch comedy series Saturday Night Live. He has been in a bunch of movies and television shows. You can see his IMDB here showing a list of movies and television shows he has started or co-stared in. It's a big list.

Have you herd the great new song with Elle King and Miranda Lambert, Drunk and I  Don't Want to go Home? Elle King is his very talented singing daughter. He also has two other much younger daughters, ages 7 and 3 with his wife Patricia.

The show is not until Saturday February 5th, 2022. It is an all ages show and prices range from $35 to $65 and $100 for VIP. Maybe a good early Christmas present?
