Ada County Announces Recycling Changes

If you recycle at home-- first of all, props to you. I could definitely be better at recycling than I am, however sometimes it can be REALLY confusing. It doesn't matter what you believe in-- it seems anyway to help reduce our footprint on the environment is admirable and some changes are coming to how we do that in Ada County.

Soon, certain types of plastic will no longer be accepted for recycling in Ada County. The list of items you CAN recycle is a little bit easier to explain...those are:

• Empty plastic soap dispensers
• Juice Jugs
• Plastic hand sanitizer bottles
• Milk Jugs
• Detergent Bottles
• Water and Soda Bottles

So what types of things does this limited list eliminate? Well, plastic bags and plastic Tupperware are just a couple of examples.
