It is BY FAR one of my most favorite events of the entire year-- Treefort Season!

I remember when Treefort, who is now celebrating a handful of years in the Treasure Valley, was a brand new thing in the core of downtown Boise. It was something new, something different, and something that looked to offer a whole new dosage of culture into our community. Obviously, it did just that and continues to thrive in the streets of downtown Boise year after year.

As the Treefort Music Festival has grown, it has really involved into an umbrella that offers something for everyone. Now, you can partake in Treefort and not even attend a concert if you don't want to. There's a 'fort' for everything and if you're 21-years-old or older...than I'm sure you're familiar with Alefort!

Alefort is the annual beer and cider celebration that goes on during Treefort Season and it brings out DOZENS of local and regional breweries for you to check out, sample, enjoy, and hang out with. Some of the best beers I have ever discovered, have been at Alefort!

This year, it has been announced that Alefort will feature a LARGER tent and special showcases for wine, cocktails, and zero proof (non alcoholic) drinks! One of my favorite things to see is that the Alefort Nail Pull is returning--featuring barrel aged drinks from both Sockeye Brewing and Meriwether Cider!
