Amano in Caldwell To Serve Free Pozole On Thanksgiving

If you follow Mateo or I on social media you know that Amano in Caldwell is one of our favorite restaurants in the Treasure Valley. The food is out of this world and the drinks are next level. This restaurant is more than just a place to eat, it's a whole vibe which is why this past Sunday we celebrated Mateo's birthday at Amano's with a bunch of friends and as always it turned into a 3-4 hour ordeal. I can rant and rave about how great Amano is but the reality of it is that the heart and soul of that place are Sal and Eric. Both of these guys are so passionate about their profession and it shows in everything they serve. This Thanksgiving they've decided to serve more than food, Eric and Sal are going to serve the community. Amano will be serving free Pozole to benefit a local non-profit. FREE POZOLE ON THANKSGIVING TO BENEFIT LOCAL NON-PROFIT

While we typically close our restaurant on Thanksgiving, we will be opening from 11-2 serving Mamá Martha’s famous pozole.
.
The food will be FREE to the public.

For people who can afford to, we will have a donation jar where cash and checks can be donated to benefit Advocates Against Family Violence (AAFV).
.
AAFV is a Caldwell based non-profit that has the mission to provide hope, help, and crisis care care to victims of domestic violence. They work to eliminate domestic violence by helping individuals make positive life changes, adult and teen outreach, court advocacy, emergency shelter services, and much more.

Please note that regular service will not be offered on this day. To-go pozole will be made available as well.
