It is still national potato month and we sure do love our potatoes here in Idaho. I came across an article on BGR highlighting a kitchen gadget on Amazon. The Starfrit Rotato Express, Electric Peeler is under $20 and going viral. TikTok user @jenn-aayyy made a video that is mesmerizing. The gadget can be used for a variety of fruits and veggies. The video that people are watching over and over again shows the electric peeler peeling a potato.

TikTok has quickly become an endless source of cool finds these days. People share a ton of tips for the kitchen from recipes to kitchen gadgets to tips and tricks for food preparation. While many are interesting and helpful few are as mesmerizing as this one. I need one in my life.

Do you hate peeling potatoes? Of course you do — everyone hates it. Well, that’s where this awesome little Amazon kitchen gadget comes into play. This TikTok video has been watched more than 10 million times. TikTokers can’t believe how simple but awesome this crazy gadget is. Check out the video on TikTok to see how it works:

As you can see, the Starfrit Electric Rotato Express couldn’t be any easier to use. Just stick the potato on the little spike. Lower the top arm to hold it in place and press the bottom. Then your potato starts to spin and the Rotato Express magically peels the entire thing for you. It is also fun to watch. Especially if you have an odd shaped fruit or veggie.
