Boise Loses Ashton Jeanty Fan Voted Rookie Of The Year Award

This past season in the NFL every single week there was a new fan voted Rookie of The Week. Every week Boise fans waited patiently and voted for Ashton Jeanty, and finally it happened.

During one epic game Ashton Jeanty had not one but two touchdowns. Ashton Jeanty pulled out all his tricks not letting anyone tackle him and scored 24 points for the Raiders.This was all done against one of the best defenses in the NFL, The Texans. Due to his insane game he was awarded with the Pepsi Zero Sugar Rookie Of The Week.

This was Ashton Jeanty's first time this season winning Rookie of The Week and we couldn't be more proud of him.

Next thing you know, the season is over and it's time for all of the awards for the season.

Nominations came out a couple of weeks ago and unfortunately he was not one of the five rookies nominated for offensive rookie of the year. A lot of people didn't think that this was fair and we agree that we think Ashton Jeanty should have at least been on this list even if he hadn't won.

A lot of people were upset that Ashton Jeanty wasn't even nominated and when it was time for the fan-voted Rookie of The Year award everyone thought they could vote enough that Ashton Jeanty would finally get the recognition he deserves. Unfortunately, that did not happen and even with the power in Boise's hands he did not win or get recognized for Rookie of The Year.
