By the way, the above photo is not it... It's a stock photo I was able to grab rights to, but below are some actual pictures for you to take a look at. But here's how it came about: I took a trip to Boston for the first time and it was incredible to eat at some of America's oldest restaurants, drink at some of America's oldest bars and see some of America's oldest buildings. In fact, I got to see the Paul Revere house in Boston where he lived when he made his famous midnight ride back in 1775. It was really cool! A lot of old, beautiful brick buildings and all the amazing food you could imagine in that amazing old community.

On the plane back to Boise, I really started to wonder... Now, I know Idaho just isn't as old as New England, but there's got to be some old buildings here, right? So I did a quick Google search and found it! Idaho's oldest building is the Mission of the Sacred Heart in Coeur d'Alene. It was built by Catholic missionaries and members of the Coeur d’Alene Tribe and you can find it listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Pretty cool! Take a look at this building in Coeur d'Alene, it's still standing proud, still gorgeous and very old, right around 170 years old to be exact!
