Backpack & School Supplies Giveaway

Calling all parents! Calling all parents! The Boys & Girls Clubs of Ada County are giving away free school supplies next week. 

School supplies must be just damaging to your psyche and peace of mind! I envy all the parents who are able to keep up with what kinds of this and how many gigs of this or which color of what. I think I just confused myself and feel lucky our Lennox is not even 3 yet. That's when I found this.

The Boys & Girls Clubs of Ada County have teamed up with Verizon to give away FREE school supplies at:

• 620 E. 42nd St, in Garden City, Idaho 83714.
• August 3rd - 1:30 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
• First come, first served!

Make sure you read that last part and remember it. FIRST COME, FIRST SERVED. These things don't happen very often and once the word is out - the word is OUT. Verizon is sending out volunteers to the Boys & Girls Club and will assist in stuff 1,000 backpacks with all kinds of school supplies. I'm not sure if you've gone yet, but that is EXPENSIVE. This is great that Verizon and the Boys & Girls Club is doing this and it's just a piece of all the amazing things they do throughout the year.

Each child will receive one backpack and when they're gone, that's it.
