Is there anything better than supporting local? If you were to ask a Treasure Valley resident--the answer would be a resounding: NO!

Here in Idaho, we love thriving local business. Supporting our neighbors in this way is what makes our community so special and when one goes away, hearts break every single time.

Breaking news out of Caldwell from one local business is doing just that. Hearts are breaking to hear that a popular bar, restaurant, and boutique are shutting down for good.

Here's a look at the spot & what people are saying--as so many are sad to see it go from the Downtown Caldwell scene!

Will you make time to visit the popular bar and boutique soon?

For years, Mesquite Creek Outfitters has been a favorite destination in the popular and bustling Indian Creek Plaza. Ownership, when posting about their 'farewell', did not mention why they'll be closing their doors -- but fans of the bar have less than a week to get out and visit, as they shared on Facebook.

It's time for us to say goodbye. Saturday, May 24th, 2025 will be our last day of business. It's been an honor to be a part of this community and we will always be grateful for the relationships we have developed with our "MCO Family". While this is the end of the road for us here, let's raise a glass together one more time.

The statement ended with a heartfelt note--thanking Caldwell--'for everything'.

Unfortunately, Mesquite Creek Outfitters is the first local business that we've seen shut their doors for good this year...
