There's nothing more powerful than the Treasure Valley's young adults coming together for someone they care about and Anthony Moretti's friends and family are certainly doing that.

There is nothing worse than children in pain.  Kids are suppose to go play, climb trees and learn about life.  I remember getting to play out till the street lights came on.  I still remember riding bikes EVERYWHERE we went. You don't realize till you get older that growing up healthy was a blessing.

When someone say's there having a baby now, I have one response.

I pray you have a healthy boy or girl:)

Anthony Moretti is a sixth grader at Vision Charter Middle School.  Like many other sixth graders he enjoys playing baseball, basketball, playing guitar, hanging out with his little brother and going fishing with his dad.  His ability to enjoy those things changed last fall when he was diagnosed with two brain tumors that cause him physical and hormonal problems.  The tumors responded well to chemo and medication and cleared up, but Anthony just couldn't catch a break.  His doctors discovered that the cancer had spread to his spine and he's currently in Salt Lake City going through treatments involving stem cells and bone marrow.

Anthony may be very, very sick right now, but he's got a team of warriors helping him fight the fight.  His classmates at Vision Charter School in Caldwell have teamed up do do a massive "Blue Out" fundraiser to help his family.  They'll be selling blue wristbands at the school on Thursday, March 20th for $5 a piece and are donating the proceeds to Anthony's family.  If you want to purchase one or make a donation to the Moretti family, you can do so in the front office at Vision Charter at 19291 Ward Rd in Caldwell today.

If you're unable to make the drive out there today, Anthony's friends and family have set up at donation website on the Go Fund Me website.

Anthony's in our thoughts and prayers here at 103.5 KISS FM.
