Bogus Basin Opening Early

You know it's cold when Bogus Basin opens ahead of schedule. The weekend storm gave Bogus 28 inches and it's set to open early, with soft openings set for this Thursday and Friday. Limited lifts will be open for the soft launch but everything will be open as of Saturday.

The early open is also due to Bogus' new $6million snow maker. Short snow seasons will no longer be a thing here. And even if you're not a skier or snowboarder, you can go up and tube or ride their mountain coaster!

I've never been into boarding. I've been a few times but it never really resonated with me. Maybe because I hate being cold. But I've told myself that I'll go up at least once this season to try it out.
