Q: When can I rent a tube or raft from Boise River Raft and Tube?
Rental hours are 12-5 p.m. Monday-Thursday, 12-6 p.m. on Friday, 10 a.m. - 6 p.m. on weekends and holidays. Boise River Raft and Tube is closed August 28th - September 1st but will reopen September 2nd - 4th.
Q: Ok, I have my own raft but do I need to blow it up before I get to Barber Park?
A: Nope! Barber Park has air stations that will be on for you to use from 10 a.m. - 7:30 p.m. during float season.
Q: Does it cost anything to float the river?
A: No, floating the river itself is free but you will have to pay $5 parking at Barber Park.
Q: How do I get back to my car after we take-out at Ann Morrison Park?
A: There's a couple ways. Take two cars. Park one at Ann Morrison before you head toward Barber Park. That way you have a car to drive back to pick the other up.
Or you can take the Ann Morrison shuttle for $3. It runs on the hour ever hour from 1-8 p.m. Monday-Thursday and 1-9 p.m. Friday. It runs every 20 minutes from 12-9 p.m. on weekends and holidays.
Q: Will they extend Float Season since we had the latest opening in history in 2017?
A: Unfortunately, float season's just going to be awfully short this year. The river will still close for the season on September 5th.
